Over the holidays I was at my girlfriends house and her parents were talking to their son over Skype. It got me thinking about video phones. Remember video phones? If not here is a picture to refresh your memory. Video phones were touted as the next generation of communication technology. Sadly they never caught on. The funny thing is Skype and other services like it have made the dream of video phones come true, granted in a different package. Well I thought it was interesting. Back to work and more coffee!
